The red violet F-coat on TiAlN-TiN basis combines the advantages of the TiN-, TiAlN- and TiCN coats
and offers incredible universal application possibilities. The performance increases are
enormous, to the extent that we are talking about a similar quantum leap as in 1980, when we were the
first tool manufacturer to introduce the golden colored TiN drill.
Like all our hard coatings, the F-coat is applied in our own coating plants using the PVD
process but using completely new technology. The procedure is tried and tested. F-coated tools are
already available.
