Totally new coating system
We found a competent partner who was well-aquainted with up-to-date coating technology, and was also capable and prepared to individually consider and jointly realize our experience, ideas and test results. As a result of the cooperation we gained a totally new coating system which is affiliated to the family of multi-layer coatings and named FIREX because of its' "fire-resistant" characteristics and violet red color.

We use the term "coating system", because we do not produce FIREX in only one specific type. FIRE is available in many tool-specific variants, optimized for each range of application. Taps and reamers, for example, receive a thinner coating than twist drills, carbide tools a different one from high speed steel tools. FIRE is therefore a totally new coating system.

To ensure that the contract coating plants are running at full capacity, the operators, under equivalent conditions, coat cutting and forming tools, knitting needles, working parts, ball-point pens, watch-cases etc. in one batch. All coating objects then receive the same coating.

| We have our own coating plants at our disposal. Therefore, the batches always consist entirely of cutting tools. In addition, we can always optimize the coating process to different tool profiles. This is especially important with special tools. The performance of the FIREX-coat can not be equalled. |
