| Range of applications |
An extremely rigid, high-performance drill for the drilling of short-chipping, tough materials such as cast iron, grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron and malleable cast iron, Al-alloys with high Si content. The carbide grade and A-coating make this tool ideally suited for the drilling of abrasive materials. Recoating is not necessary when regrinding. Advantages, Suggestions Highest speed and feed rates possible (see Guroguide), high alignment accuracy with tight tolerance and excellent surface finish. Excellent self-centering qualities as well as producing short chips thanks to a concave cutting point geometry with special point grind and web thinning. Pre-conditions for use Powerful machines.
